TESTIMONY

January 2010

My wife (Lourdes) and myself (Kiran) were returning back home after doing
our grocery shopping, on our scooter when suddenly our bike just picked
up speed by itself. All of a sudden it began wobbling violently.
The next moment I realized our bike did not have a rear wheel.
The bike started scrapping the road at high speed.

When it finally came to a halt on the middle of the road, neither me or my
wife fell off the bike nor did we get hurt, but fell right into JESUS' arms.
The road we were on is a two and a half km stretch, where lots of
people have lost their lives, vehicles are travelling at high speed.
Just imagine if there was a speeding vehicle right behind us!
But our Savior JESUS CHRIST saved us.

December 2009

One afternoon after KSI Church Service I fell down and rolled down the staircase with granite steps from the first floor to the ground floor. I remember that while falling I was calling on the name of Jesus. When I got up from the floor with the exception of a few hardly noticeable bruises I felt light. I am sure angels were holding me up. I was prayed for. The doctor examined me and found me all right. I praise the name of Jesus, the Name above all names. God is good all the time!

Psalm91: 11-12. "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone." PRAGNA

A friend of mine was suffering from an allergy attack in the USA. He was unable to breathe properly and had severe chest congestion. I asked if he had prayed about it and asked the Lord to heal him, but he said he hadn't asked for healing specifically. So I asked if it would be okay if I prayed for his healing and asked God to give him relief and he said go ahead. It was a Wednesday that I spoke with him about praying for him, the next morning I lifted up his condition in prayer....and by Friday early morning his congestion had cleared and he was breathing normally. God is faithful and I thank him for answering prayer and healing my friend.

I want to thank the Lord for giving me the grace and for sustaining me in this time of uncertainty. I quit my job and am currently in the process of getting another. Under normal, natural circumstances I would have been stressed and worried all along but it is only because of the Lord's peace I am able to remain calm and joyful most of the time....and the times when any kind of anxious thoughts come it is through His word and the Holy Spirit who reminds me of His word and promise I am able to overcome every anxious thought and remain peaceful and joyful in this situation. God deserves all praise for His word, promise and faithfulness.

An extremely personal and important decision had to be broken to my parents and I was worried of how they would react to it. From past experience I expected them to get all agitated and anxious after hearing the same....however all praise to God that nothing short of a miracle happened when they heard the news and accepted it with such calmness and peace and above all they also gave me the permission to go ahead and move towards the next important stage without any obstruction or obstacle. Truly what is ordained by God cannot be changed by any man and God meets the desires of our heart as we delight in him and that word is come true in my experience. Praise the Lord! SHUBHA SEN

THE LORD IS TRUE TO HIS WORD! - The Word of God is indeed our strength and protection, a shield and a lamp for this journey called Life. The words of the Lord "Fear not, I am with you.", "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of The Almighty" (Ps 91:1-2), "He shielded him and cared for him, He guarded him as the apple of His eye, like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them on its pinions, The Lord alone led him..." (Deut 32:10-12) -  are so true, so full of hope and meaning for all of us who believe in Jesus and they hold a wonderful promise for mankind, especially for our times where fear is written large across most faces. Yet, few of us truly believe the words of the Bible. The words of love, hope, protection and promise given in the Scriptures made true sense and held meaning for me only after this mighty experience of His protection over me.

I am an 87 year old lady and have lived most of my life in FEAR - fear of God and fear of people. Though I am a person of prayer and have done my best to please God all my life, fear still ruled me. And the Lord, at this time of my life, showed me how precious I am to Him. He proved to me, a ‘doubting Thomas' that not a hair on my head will be touched without His permission.

Isaiah 43 came alive to me on August 12, 2008, when a robber visited our home. At 11 a.m. I was alone with the maid at my daughter's cottage. The maid was young and new to Mumbai and on my insistance (as he was decently dressed and said he was an electrician) allowed the man into the house. The two big dogs too did not create any problem for him. He entered the house and took the maid into the kitchen and gave her a live wire to hold and while he kept her occupied there, got busy ransacking the cupboard for gold and valuables. But Jesus was in control!  Praise Jesus, the cook turned up just at that time and seeing her the thief, realizing his game was up, had to flee for his life without causing any harm to life and limb or even pocketing a pin! His intention was definitely to kill us and rob our belongings - and of course as no one was around, none would have been the wiser until the family members returned! Besides, thanks be to God, the socket into which he plugged the wire was in fact dead. Otherwise the live-wire would have destroyed the maid and me and possibly the house too! There would have been a great disaster but Jesus was with us, caring for his own!   NOT A HAIR on us was touched! Praised be Jesus!

Today, I genuinely believe that Jesus' words are true & real! The Bible is the WORD - JESUS, & is the same - yesterday, today & forever. Praised be Jesus the Good Shepherd who protects us from thieves who comes to steal, kill & destroy!

I want to thank the Lord for giving me a wonderful job. It has been over two years now, and I have already received my increment, promotion and sales incentives. God's favor has always been there in my life and at my work place. My colleagues have been good to me and helpful. All glory and honor to Jesus. I hit my targets from Jan'08 - Dec'08 and this has been a record and a great achievement, for which I thank and praise our Lord Jesus for His help and guidance.
Jesus gives us wisdom how to manage our finances. I thank God for the finance and prosperity in my life this past year. He has been so faithful and has provided my every need. I have no lack. There has been no incident where I have had to borrow or be a debtor. In fact, I have had a surplus to give others. Also being a regular tither is yielding fruits. Praise the Lord! RACHEL MATHIAS

I was very sick in 1997. I had a nervous break-down. Some people came over to pray for me. They told me that my problem was un-forgiveness. As I repented and forgave people, God lifted my burden. I felt very light. God healed me and I was totally free. Thank you Jesus!                      
I did not go back to work for a period of five years because of my sickness. I also did not submit a medical certificate for the same. Yet God saved me. I got back my job. Thank you Jesus!  I sought a marriage partner a long time. God heard my prayer and gave me a beautiful girl to be my wife. Thank you Jesus! SALVADOR FERNANDES

God is good all the time and the sweet Holy Spirit has been urging, nudging and reminding me of things that need to be accomplished. The Holy Spirit is my best friend. Without Him I can do nothing, but with Him all things are possible. I testify to the following things He has done for me. I sold my house in Nasik and could not find the Share Certificates and the document that showed all my dues were paid. I prayed and He showed me exactly where they were. Praise the Lord! While returning from Nasik, I had four big bags and I was wondering just how to carry them and how to enter the train with them. I prayed once again putting all my trust in Jesus. All of a sudden I got an auto-rickshaw and at the station a porter came to my aid. He not only carried my entire luggage but put them onto the train. Praise the Lord once again. He is always faithful and His mercy endures forever!
My family and I have recently shifted to a new residence. There was a lot of work to be done while shifting as we had lived at the earlier residence for forty-five years. I want to praise and thank the Lord for sending His angels to help us. Everything was transferred in a peaceful way from one place to the other without any difficulty, without any breakage and so on. God sent plumbers, electricians, carpenters who came and did a good job. Thank you Jesus!  MRS. O. D'SOUZA

A long standing financial settlement was completed to our satisfaction after praying. Praise the Lord!
I am kept in excellent good health - "By His stripes I was healed." And for us "who revere His Name, the Son of righteousness comes with healing in His wings."
We were praying for Pakistan to own up 26 / 11 attack on Mumbai. The Lord was gracious to make that country admit that the attack by terrorists was planned in Pakistan. Thank you Lord for averting a war between India and Pakistan on this account. J. M. D'SOUZA

I had prayed for a morning shift as I was working on night shift previously which would not allow me to attend Church and other fellowship meetings. God answered my prayer and gave me a morning shift with a Saturday and Sunday holiday. Praise the Lord He meets the desires of His childrens' hearts.
I had filed for mediclaim for my father's eye operation. However almost two months passed, without any notification from the company. After writing to them I was notified that the original documents were misplaced. I prayed and believed the word ‘ask and you shall receive.' I received notification the following week that the documents were found and the cheque was being processed. Praise the Lord! Prayer works! Our building was going to be demolished and a new building reconstructed. The builder made many promises but failed to deliver on time and complete the required formalities. After months of praying the builder finally completed all formalities. Those who put their trust in God will not be put to shame. Hallelujah! DERRICK D'SOUZA

I used to get cramps in my legs very often. So I began claiming proper blood circulation, commanding the cramps to leave in Jesus' Name and they did immediately. Ever since then I stop getting cramps in my legs. Many times I suffered from spasms in my upper and lower limbs. I began praying for proper blood circulation to the limbs with no effect. As I started to take authority in the Name of Jesus and rebuked the spasms in my limbs it just left me and I have not suffered from it ever since.
Sometimes I just can't get sleep at nights. After tossing from side to side I realized I had done nothing about it. Si I began taking authority over the spirit of sleeplessness but to no avail. Then I realized that the Lord wants His beloved to have rest and sleep. So I began to declare the verse from Ps4: 8 "I will both lie down in peace and sleep; for You alone O Lord make me dwell in safety." The Word of God always works and it worked for me! Now anytime I don't get sleep I declare Ps4: 8 and sleep peacefully. Thank You Lord! LYNETTE MATHIAS

I had ordered a cheque book from my bank, but five days later it had still not arrived. I was planning to make enquiries with the bank the next day. However the Lord took note of my strong desire. That evening the Courier man brought the cheque book over to my place. The Lord says: "Before you call I will answer and while you are yet speaking I will listen." I suffered nervous breakdown & was paralyzed. Medicine did not work. Some people came over to my house and gave me the gospel. I repented and forgave people who hurt me. After forgiving them, the same medicines that didn't work began to work. Jesus healed me. Thank you Jesus! SALVADOR FERNANDES

My dad suddenly took very ill one day with internal bleeding. His health did not improve. He was admitted to hospital next morning. His condition worsened. By nightfall, doctors gave the verdict that his condition was critical. Around 10 pm, that night, I told the Lord, that He was the healer but if it was his will to take my dad away to his heavenly abode I would accept his will, except he give me an opportunity lead Dad into a prayer for his Salvation. God gave me this opportunity at about 11. 30 p.m. I lead my Dad to accept Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Master. Immediately an hour later, he left for his heavenly aboard. I thank and praise God that my Dad is at peace with the Lord today.  M. DAVID

I am blessed to be a member of the KSI Church where the Word of God is expounded, people testify to what the Lord has done for them. We have regular times of intercession and many people get healed and delivered from bondages. Above all we enjoy the presence of the Lord when we worship Him at Church. Many years ago I ventured into the unknown by dabbling [with interest] into hypnosis. This resulted in numerous satanic attacks on my physical body and mind. A colleague urged me to attend a Christian Prayer Service. At this place I received instant physical healing. The attacks continued although they diminished very much in frequency. One day while I was struggling under the attack, I heard a soft voice telling me to command these demons to leave in the name of Jesus. I did so and they left immediately. I was set free.
